Probably the highlight of the trip was dinner with Charlie Wang CEO of Thunder Power Batteries. He invited me to join him, his significant other, Amanda, Rockie Roper (our Contest Director), Alan Szabo, Jr. (top R/C heli pilot), his brother, Danny, and father Alan Sr., Mark Leseberg, Jr. (Champion pattern pilot) and his girlfriend Amy. Afterward three of them, Charlie, Alan Jr., and Danny hammed it up on a kiddie ride outside the restaurant.
