High Curent Switch for Electric Aircraft
When flying
electric powered radio control aircraft it is handy to switch
the power on and off. This is extra necessary when there is no
access to the battery
except for removing the wing.
A switch capable of handling the high current used in RC applications would
be very heavy.
The attached diagram illustrates using a Dean's Ultra Plug as a switch.
This switch is capable of high current and does not weigh very much.
If you can't find the "key" it is easy to bypass the switch.
