Results	LVSC held it's March sailplane contest on Saturday March 6. As this was our first contest this year it was decided to run an 'easy' test of flying skills. We flew three rounds of 5 minutes with a 25 point landing tape. Eight members entered - a good turnout for the first contest. Good sportsmanship was displayed today as Dan Roselli 'loaned' his ship to Tibor Marton while Ed Jennings did the same for Bill Ervin. You guessed it - both Tibor and Bill bested the 'owners' of the planes. Our general flying and landing on the carpet brought out the skills as only 3 landings out of 24 were missed. Dan Roselli, being a 'new' guy to sailplanes ( many, many years flying powered planes) was permitted to land anywhere on the carpet for points - he did good.
